So I've been having this problem where I want it all but I'm not willing to sacrifice anything for it. I keep attempting to juggle things around to make it all fit together but it isn't working anymore. I have to give up something. Unfortunately that something had to be a person. A person who meant so much to me. I think it was the right decision but I still wonder sometimes. I'm in that strange place where I was away for most of the year and now I have to go home. I know I have friends there but it's still a bit weird. I'm afraid that I'll take a step back into the same place I was a year ago more than physically. Plus I've made a new life in another city with friends spread across the state for the summer and I'm really going to miss them. So there's that. My first real blog in over a year and no one is going to read it. It's probably for the best.

I'm bringing Xanga back - drop a comment if you're with me!
So....one time I met this hobo in a dark alley on the south side of
Compton and I totally shanked his ass. I didn't like the leering look
he had on his face and his sheer laziness. He had the nerve to ask me
for money and I told him to get a job. He tried to give me some
bullshit Nam story and I just couldn't stop myself. I just had to shank
him. I did however leave the classifieds section of the LA times I was
carrying next to him and called an ambulance. I'm sure he's better off.
So I had a nice surprise for New Year's Eve. Cody delayed his trip to Manhattan to spend the evening with me. It was the first time I had someone to kiss at midnight. I guess I just never seemed to be attached during the holiday season. Anyway, we watched some of my old home movies with my mom and dad, played some Monopoly, and a little Tekken Tag Tournament. It sounds a little lame but it was fun. I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year's and enjoy what's left of your holiday from classes!
Snow Day!-sort of. We got out of school about 2 hours early which is good enough for me! I've been pretty happy lately. Cody was home for a couple of days last week and that was really nice. I miss him like crazy but we're making it work. He'll be home for a few weeks next time so I'm excited for that. Things are going well at home too. I even took my mom to the movies last week. We saw Borat and very much enjoyed it. Great movie. Anyway, that's just a short little update. Hope everyone else is doing well and if you aren't, well... suck it up.
